From July 19 to 21, 2026, the FNY · Good Doctor Guzheng Special Skills Training for Health Management — Weight Management Instructor Competency Training Program (Session 2) was successfully held in Chengdu. The event was hosted by the Sichuan Health Manager Association, and undertaken by Sichuan FNY Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Good Doctor Guzheng TCM Clinic Management Co., Ltd.
This training constitutes an important talent development module of the FNY · Good Doctor Guzheng Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Precision Weight Management Project, and marks the second session of the Million Weight Management Specialists Special Skills Training Program. Building on the fruitful outcomes of the first training session, this program further optimized the curriculum and refined practical assessments. Centered on “authoritative theories + hands-on skills + standardized evaluation”, it helps trainees establish a solid professional foundation, cultivates standardized weight management talents for follow-up service delivery and instructor training, and steadily advances the development of talent teams for the nationwide market.
Opening Ceremony: Sincere Expectations Shared
At the opening ceremony, Tang Lihua, President of the First Council and Director of the Expert Committee of the Sichuan Health Manager Association, and You Yan, Vice President of Sichuan FNY Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and General Manager of the Brand Operation Center, delivered speeches respectively. Liang Chaofu, General Manager of FNY · Good Doctor Guzheng TCM, attended the ceremony.
President Tang Lihua pointed out that weight management is a vital component of national health, and the development of professional talent teams underpins the standardized growth of the industry. He encouraged all trainees to cherish this learning opportunity, master professional expertise, practice diligently after the training, and integrate knowledge flexibly so as to help more people achieve wellness through scientific and professional services.
On behalf of FNY, Vice President You Yan stated that the weight management project serves as FNY’s core strategic initiative to enter the New TCM health management track, and talents are the key to project implementation. She urged participants to focus on their studies, consolidate foundational knowledge and master relevant technologies thoroughly. After returning to the market, trainees should continuously polish their capabilities in practice, empower physical stores with professionalism and create value through high-quality services.
Expert Lectures: Learning Integrated with Practice
Boasting a more refined curriculum system, this training invited authoritative specialists from multiple Grade A tertiary hospitals including West China Hospital, West China Fourth Hospital, Chengdu First People’s Hospital and Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital, together with senior instructors from FNY and Good Doctor Guzheng. The three-day training adopted progressive courses that closely combine theoretical lectures and practical drills.
July 19
The first day focused on authoritative theoretical teaching to help trainees build a comprehensive knowledge framework for weight management.
Specialists from the Nutrition Department of Chengdu First People’s Hospital, the Health Management Center of West China Hospital, and the Nutrition Department of Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital delivered systematic lectures covering standardized obesity assessment, full-cycle medical nutritional weight loss, exercise prescription formulation and weight-loss dietary design. Supported by clinical cases, the lectures helped trainees establish a theoretical framework for scientific weight management.
Director Tang Qi from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, West China Fourth Hospital shared the application of appropriate TCM therapies in weight loss, interpreted group standards for digital weight management and demonstrated operations of the digital management system, fostering trainees’ mindset of integrated Chinese and Western medicine weight management.
In the evening, Dr. Chen Jin and Lecturer Yang Xi introduced FNY’s exclusive weight management solutions and the operation of the store health management system, laying groundwork for subsequent practical training and market implementation.
July 20
The second day featured intensive practical training and assessments, focusing on standard operating procedures for various devices and therapies.
Physician Hu Yaxin explained the operation of the InBody-H30 body composition analyzer, organized group drills and on-site assessments, and corrected non-standard operations in a timely manner. Chen Shanhui, Director of Product R&D of FNY, taught the operation of the AI intelligent tongue diagnosis instrument developed by West China Medical Robotics Research Institute, guided practical drills and arranged operational assessments to ensure every trainee mastered standard procedures.
In the evening, after Dr. Chen Jin and Lecturer Yang Xi completed assessments on the “321” weight management theory and health management system, Zhao Qibin, Senior Lecturer of FNY, delivered training on Good Doctor Guzheng Meridian Moxibustion Rehabilitation Therapy Technology. He demonstrated standard techniques, arranged paired practical exercises, and guided trainees to repeatedly refine key movements under supervision.
July 21
The final day combined assessments and practical implementation guidance.
In the morning, assessments for the Meridian Moxibustion Instrument were carried out to further standardize technical operations. In the afternoon, all trainees took the Weight Management Specialist Certification Examination organized by the Sichuan Health Manager Association. Strict theoretical tests evaluated the learning outcomes accumulated over three days.
Dr. Chen Jin illustrated the full workflow of weight management services in New TCM Health Experience Stores, clarifying how trainees can apply acquired skills to daily store operations and offering guidance for post-training practice.
Graduation Ceremony: A New Starting Point for Steady Progress
Upon completion of all courses and assessments, a grand graduation ceremony was held. Hou Xugang, Vice President of FNY and General Manager of the Marketing Management Center, You Yan, Vice President of FNY and General Manager of the Brand Operation Center, and Liang Chaofu, General Manager of FNY · Good Doctor Guzheng TCM attended the ceremony.
Vice President Hou Xugang delivered an inspiring speech. He encouraged trainees to view graduation as a new starting point rather than an end. After returning to their posts, participants should keep practicing, fully internalize the knowledge and skills acquired in the three-day training, and continuously improve professional capabilities through practice. He called on everyone to become advocates and practitioners of professional weight management, and jointly push forward the weight management undertaking of FNY · Good Doctor Guzheng.
After the speech, Vice President Hou Xugang and General Manager Liang Chaofu jointly presented graduation certificates to the trainees. All instructors and participants took a group photo, marking the successful conclusion of the three-day training.
